It is a salon online booking system for independent hair salons, barbers and beauty salons across the UK. Bookings go straight into your diary, and there is no commission on any of them.
How a client books
- Services. They pick one or more. Several services are booked back to back.
- Who with. They choose a stylist, barber or therapist by name, or anyone available.
- Day and time. Only times that are genuinely free with that person are shown.
- Their details. Name, mobile and email. A confirmation email arrives straight away, with a button to add it to their calendar.
What it checks before offering a time
A booking page is only useful if you can trust it. Before a time is offered, SalonFlow checks:
- Every other booking already in the diary
- Set-up time before a service and the gap after it, for colour processing or clean-down
- Blocked time for lunch, training or the dentist
- Holidays and each person's regular days off
- Days when the whole salon is closed
Add a holiday on a Monday morning and online booking keeps clear of it straight away.
Into the diary, ready to confirm
New online bookings land in the diary as soon as they are made, marked to confirm so the team can see what is fresh. If the client chose anyone, the booking waits in an up for grabs tray at the top of the diary until someone takes it. Managers can hand any booking to anyone.
Bookings taken over the phone or at the desk go in the same diary, so the online page never offers a time somebody has just taken.
