A diary chair by chair
Every barber has a column, side by side, with a line showing the time now. Tap a booking to see the client, their number and what they are in for. Drag it to move it, or across to another barber when someone is running behind. You are asked before anything double books.
Each barber signs in on the shop tablet with their own PIN and sees their own day. They can book clients in with themselves, but nobody can change your prices from the tablet. The owner gets the full login, with a code texted to their phone.
Walk-ins and phone bookings
Someone pops their head round the door? Tap an empty time in a free barber's column and the booking form opens with the barber and time already filled in. Type their name and mobile and they are in. Next time they come back they are already in the search.
Phone bookings work the same way. The free times for each barber show under the form, so you can read them out while the client is still on the line.
Quick cuts, booked properly online
Clients choose a cut, a beard trim or both, and they are booked back to back. They pick a barber or leave it to the shop, and only see times that are really free. Regulars on a three or four week rhythm
Some regulars come in every three weeks like clockwork. Set a repeat booking for them, anywhere from every week to every 12 weeks, and up to 26 visits go in the diary at once. If any of those dates are already taken, you see which ones and decide what to do.
