Beauty salon software for UK nail and beauty salons
Beauty work runs to its own clock. A full set of nails, a lash lift and tint, a facial that needs the room set up first and wiped down after. SalonFlow is beauty salon software that understands a treatment takes more than the time printed on the menu.
It is online booking, reminders and a shared diary for independent nail and beauty salons in the UK, from a single treatment room to a busy team.
Room to set up, time to clean down
Each treatment can have set-up time before it and a gap after it. Set-up blocks the diary before the client's start time, and the client never sees it. The gap after keeps the therapist busy while they clean down, so nobody is booked in while you are still sorting the station. Set both once per treatment, then change them on a single booking when you need to.
Longer treatments, booked back to back
Clients can book several treatments in one visit, say gel nails and a brow shape, and they run back to back. SalonFlow adds up the time and only offers slots long enough to fit the lot, so a two hour visit never gets squeezed into a ninety minute hole.

Nail salon booking for infills and regulars
Nail clients come back often, many every two or three weeks for infills. Set a repeat booking, anywhere from every week to every 12 weeks, and their next visits are in the diary in one go. When a client is finishing up, Done & rebook offers the same time 4, 6, 8 or 10 weeks on, and marks the usual return time for that treatment as due.
Patch tests and notes that stay private
Lash and brow tints need care. Keep patch test dates, allergies and preferences in staff-only notes on the client. They show on every one of their bookings and are never sent to the client. For anything that must not be missed, add an alert, such as patch test needed before tint. It pops up whenever their booking is opened, and their bookings carry a red warning mark in the diary.
Keep the treatment room full
A no-show on a long treatment leaves a big hole in the day. Every client gets a reminder by text, email or both, sent from your salon's name. Find out more about our salon SMS reminders, including what a text costs.
Your team and your hours
Each therapist has their own column in the diary and signs in on the salon tablet with a PIN. Holidays, training and regular days off go in once and online booking avoids them. Close the whole salon for a day with a single entry. Managers sign in with a password and a code texted to their phone.
Want to keep in touch? Send offers and news by email to clients who said yes, with unsubscribes handled for you. There is also a new client area with loyalty, so clients can see their bookings and how close they are to their next reward, and a simple website if you need one.

Questions
Can I add set-up and clean-down time to a treatment?
Yes. Each treatment can have set-up time before it and a gap after it. Online booking leaves both free, and you can change them on a single booking.
Where do I record patch tests?
In the staff-only notes on the client. Tick alert and write one line, and it pops up every time one of their bookings is opened. Staff notes are never sent to the client.
Does it work for a nail salon with regular infills?
Yes. Set a repeat booking from every week to every 12 weeks, or use Done & rebook at the end of the appointment to pick a time 4, 6, 8 or 10 weeks on.
Can clients book more than one treatment at once?
Yes. They choose as many treatments as they like and they are booked back to back. Only times long enough for all of them are offered.
